Their brass contains about 70 percent copper and 30 percent zinc and is drawn vertically during production to create uniform wall thickness across each case. Cases are annealed between each drawing step to maintain consistent metal structure quality. Every brass case is individually inspected by hand for quality assurance checks.

Brass preparation with bulk rifle brass you may notice case mouths that are slightly out of round or dented below shoulder area sometimes present. These imperfections occur in final tumbling wash operation after case mouth has been annealed process step. Brass manufacturers are aware of case cosmetics and have worked to reduce them but due to equipment design denting may still occur occasionally. Minor dents are normally removed in first firing and will not affect case life or performance results. On non plated brass you may also notice anneal stain not fully polished off which may give case neck a pinkish color tone variation present. With some smaller caliber cases you may notice case mouths slightly belled shape sometimes occurs.
If you are using nickel plated brass special care must be taken to lubricate cases prior to sizing them properly. Nickel plating is harder than brass and cases require more effort in sizing process. In event a case becomes stuck purchase a stuck case remover do not use pliers screwdrivers or other common household tools which could damage sizing die tool.
