Nosler Brass Biography

Nosler was founded in 1948 by John Amos Nosler in Bend after he set out to design better bullets for dependable hunting performance. As the company grew from bullet manufacturing into complete ammunition solutions, Nosler identified the need for premium cartridge cases that matched the same precision and reliability standards as their projectiles.

Nosler Brass was developed to give reloaders match grade cases built with strict dimensional control, uniform wall thickness, and consistent weight from case to case. Manufactured with high quality raw materials and rigorous quality inspection, Nosler Brass quickly gained recognition among precision shooters and hunters who demanded long case life and dependable accuracy.

Today, Nosler produces premium reloading brass for a wide range of popular rifle calibers including 223 Remington, 22-250 Remington, 243 Winchester, 6.5 Creedmoor, 270 Winchester, 7mm Remington Magnum, and 308 Winchester.
